Audrey Hepburn

"Grace was not a performance for her — it was simply how she moved."
Audrey Kathleen Hepburn-Ruston survived Nazi-occupied Holland as a child and emerged to become one of cinema's most enduring presences. Her performances in Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and Charade combined elegance with an unaffected warmth that audiences across generations have found irresistible. In later life she devoted herself to UNICEF, traveling to some of the world's most impoverished regions as a Goodwill Ambassador. She considered that work, not the films, her greatest role.
